Julie & Steven’s Pacific Palms Wedding

It’s rare when the Groom comes to the planner first and shares all the wedding details sans the Bride. But, that’s how this wedding went when Steven came to our door and asked us for help to make his wedding day with his bride, Julie, seamless. Julie, by nature and profession, is a project manager, which means very Type A and super organized, which made it even better to know someone understood what our job entails to ensure a successful event. The two set their sights on a pastel blue, light purple and white theme for their wedding. While the couple wanted an American style wedding, most of the personal touches were Chinese. Both made sure to include a tea ceremony, outfit changes in wearing traditional Chinese clothing, lion dancers and a masked dancer to perform at the reception. So many of these details were planned in detail, just like the couple were in personality. We had a blast seeing the bold and traditional come together. Thank you for having us and Congratulations Julie & Steven!
